Olumide Ogidan

Principal Partner

Olumide Ogidan is the Principal Partner of the firm and a seasoned legal practitioner with substantial experience in election petition litigation, chieftaincy disputes and land-related matters. He has participated in election petition proceedings across various jurisdictions in Nigeria, including as a member of the Respondent’s team at the Ondo State Governorship Election Tribunal, a member of the Petitioner’s team at the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal, and a member of the Appellant’s team before the Supreme Court in the Accord Party Oyo State Governorship Election Appeal in 2016. He is a dedicated member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Akure Branch, where he served as Legal Adviser from 2020 to 2022 and subsequently as Secretary from 2022 to 2024. He has also served on professional and public-interest bodies, including the Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association in 2025 and the Visitation Panel to the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State, from March to June 2025. Beyond legal practice, Mr. Ogidan is actively involved in legal academia. He is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Law, Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, where he lectures in the Department of Public and International Law. His academic interests and publications cover areas including public law, criminal justice, intellectual property, copyright, technology and healthcare law
